Defensive Pistol

For the action pistol fans, approximately 15 organized events during the year, including the annual Super Shoot held in mid-August. Based on IDPA scenarios, targets and scoring, the Club has relaxed the rules regarding classes and equipment to allow more shooters to participate. Fast-paced, but remember "you can't miss fast enough to win".

Trap Shotgun

The Shotgun Range is located a short distance from the Rifle and Pistol Ranges. A manually operated clay thrower is on site and available for member use. Regular Trap Shoots are held every second Tuesday night beginning in early May, culminating in the Annual Turkey Shoot at the end of September. Groups can arrange for use of the electric thrower.

Cowboy Action

Cowboy Action shooting has gained popularity in the last few years. The Club constructed some western sets and holds about 12 regular shoots per year. 2008 promises to be bigger and better with the relocation of Alberta Frontier Shootists and their props and facilities to the Rocky Range.
