The Board of Directors has approved the 2026 Range Rules.
There are two minor changes:
- Archers may sign in at a new kiosk to be constructed at Range H, eliminating the need to bring hearing protection if you’re not using a gun range. All firearms users must sign-in at the Clubhouse.
- Multiple shooters on a firing line shall remain1.6m apart.
The General Range Procedures have been reorganized, but not changed.
They are grouped together by the commands that the Range Officer uses on the firing line. This makes them easier to remember and provides structure for Range Officers to perform their duties consistently.
Example: Displaying the red flag is now grouped into a section called “Range is Hot”
Example: Verifying rifles are unloaded and racked is now grouped into a section called “Range is Safe”
The 2026 safety refresher test will be available on Dec 1st in the Courses section.
